From the East
From Cross Hands, go west on the A48 towards Carmarthen. Go straight across the first roundabout, and take the first exit off the next by B&Q and Tesco onto the A40 signed St Clears and Fishguard. Just past the B&Q turning, take the sliproad signposted Johnstown and Llansteffan, following the road around to the left. Turn left at the top of this, coming to some traffic lights by a pub called the The Friends Arms (see below)...
From the West
Head toward Carmarthen on the A40. Take the Travellers Rest / Johnstown exit and turn left at the top of the sliproad, signposted Johnstown, Llansteffan and Leisure Centre. Go straight across the mini-roundabout and past a garage until you come to some traffic lights, by a pub called the Friends Arms (see below)...
From the North / Lampeter / Newcastle Emlyn
Head toward Carmarthen and then the Carmarthen by-pass (A40) at the roundabout immediately before Glangwili hospital. Take the second exit at the next roundabout and on to the by-pass. Go straight across the next roundabout and go into the right hand lane to take the third exit at the next. Take the first exit off the B&Q / Tesco roundabout, signed St Clears and Fishguard, staying on the A40. Just past the B&Q turning, take the sliproad signposted Johnstown and Llansteffan, following the road around. Turn left at the top of the slip, coming to some traffic lights by a pub called the The Friends Arms (see below)...
At the Friends Arms Junction
Turn left immediately after the pub onto Jobs Well Road, following the road up the hill and round to the right at the top. The entrance to Trinity College is on the right and signposted Trinity College and the Halliwell Centre. Once you have entered the college campus, take the first left, signposted Sports Centre, following the road around. You will see a sign for Joint Care Clinic at the entrance to the car park. Please come into the Sports Centre and let one of the staff know that you have arrived.

From East / West / South
From the A48 junction at Cross Hands, head north on the Llandeilo road , coming into Gorslas. After about 400 yards, when you come to the double cross roads, take the second right, turning up by the Phoenix Tavern along Penygroes road, signposted Llandybie. Continue along this road for about a mile, passing the Farmer’s Arms pub on your left. Immediately after the pub, turn right at the cross roads, into Bridge Street. The surgery is 50 yards along here on the left, by the bus stop and pharmacy. For evening appointments, do not try and enter the main front door as it will be locked. Please come down the side entrance to the left of the surgery and in the side door, ignoring the No Entry sign.
From North - Llandeilo
Head south from Llandeilo on the A483 then the A476 at Ffairfach towards Cross Hands. Shortly after Carmel there is a left turn to Penygroes, if you take this, you will come into Penygroes and come to a cross roads with a Chapel on your left. Go straight across here. The surgery is 50 yards along here on the left, by the bus stop and pharmacy. For evening appointments, do not try and enter the main front door as it will be locked. Please come down the side entrance to the left of the surgery and in the side door, ignoring the No Entry sign.
From North - Llandybie
Head south from Llandybie on the Penygroes / Cross Hands road. Just as you come into Penygroes there is a cross roads, take the left hand turn (if you miss this you will pass the Farmers Arms).
The surgery is 50 yards along here on the left, by the bus stop and pharmacy. For evening appointments, do not try and enter the main front door as it will be locked. Please come down the side entrance to the left of the surgery and in the side door, ignoring the No Entry sign.
